  1. The Six Degrees of Play galaxy view, with hundreds of glowing game box-art tiles scattered like stars across dark 3D space and linked by colored lines into a bright central cluster.

    Why a galaxy, not a graph

    The first version was a flat 2D graph. It held up fine until I kept adding games, and then flat space just ran out.

  2. The Six Degrees map focused on Sonic the Hedgehog 2, its cover lit up at the center among other Genesis-era game boxes, with a side panel listing its year, publisher, and connections.

    The nostalgia I didn't see coming

    I added box art to the map mostly to make it look finished. The nostalgia hit way harder than I was expecting.
